Meet Sally…

Hi, thanks for reading my page!

I first started meditation back in 2008, when I was a learning and development professional for 14 years. It was super stressful for me and meditation gave me moments of respite that probably saved me! It wasn’t mindfulness then, but I tried lots of different types of meditation.

When I became a mum, the stress and sleepless nights nearly sent me over the edge and that’s when I was properly introduced to mindfulness and instantly I knew, this was for me.

I went on a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course and honestly, it changed my life. It was then that I decided to start my journey of helping others experience the gift of mindfulness just as I had done.

Since then, I have Master’s in Mindfulness-Based Teaching and trained with world-renowned mindfulness centres because I wanted to be the best teacher I could.

I have now combined my coaching and mindfulness experience and specialise in training coaches so that they can have more impact and better results with their own clients. Like me, I know you want to be the best coach you can be with presence, calm, deep listening and mindful awareness and so, I have since developed the Mindful Coach Programme to help you do just that.

When I’m not teaching…

I’m practicing mindfulness as much as I can which, as you can imagine, means I’m a much calmer and kinder mum and wife.

I have two gorgeous children and we live in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

We LOVE to go on holiday and have lots of fun adventures. When I was younger, I spent months/years travelling the world as it was my passion. Understandably, this has been put on hold somewhat whilst the kids are young. I’m hoping they may also gain the travel bug once they’re old enough!

My mindfulness training.

I have a Master’s in Mindfulness-Based Teaching from Bangor and am qualified to teach Mindfulness Based Cognititve Therapy for Life through the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.

I have also attended training with the UK Mindfulness Network and qualified with the Mindfulness In Schools Programme in teaching children.

I am registered with British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA). This is a body of professional teachers who have a recognised, high standard of training, experience and ongoing professional practice in order to teach safely and effectively.
