The Mindful Coach

12-week online mindfulness programme

Unlock the power of mindfulness so you can achieve more impactful results for you and your clients.

One of the things I love most about working with coaches is that they recognise the importance of personal development and always see new opportunities to improve and keep growing.

The Mindful Coach programme is for you if you know that mindfulness can be a powerful tool in your coaching practice.

Many of my clients want to bring their day-to-day mindfulness practice and make it more meaningful for their coaching.

They love the idea of being more present and supporting their clients by delivering mindfulness practices to help them be more settled and focused too.

By bringing mindfulness into your coaching, you become centred, grounded and open, creating a space for strong, safe connections where ideas and creativity flow.

You have more impact and the client gets better results.

“Sally’s training will not only change your business, but indeed your life. Thanks Sally, what a great gift you have given me.”

Who is The Mindful Coach programme for?

I work with clients who are passionate about having an impact, they often feel like they are not getting the results they could be because their minds are so busy and overwhelmed that their thoughts get in the way of them showing up for their business and their clients.

Loads of them have tried meditation and mindfulness but they don’t tap into its real power because they don’t know how.

Over the years of working with these types of clients, I have realised that the same gaps were coming up time and time again.

Having a busy and scattered mind stops both the coach and the client from being fully present in their session which affects the ability to deeply listen, question effectively, build strong safe connections and be open to creativity.

I will teach you the mindfulness skills to be effective and impactful right from the very start through to the end and get the results you really want.

When you’re a more impactful coach, you get more recommendations - and more clients.

Here are the 4 steps you will learn in the Mindful Coach programme:

Step 1: Presence

Have you ever started a client session and your mind just hasn’t been there - you’ve felt flustered or scattered, maybe because of something that’s just happened before the session?

It can be difficult to bring your thoughts back and before you know it, half the session has gone and you haven’t really been present at all.

Being truly present during your sessions isn’t always easy, but when you are it allows you to:

✅ Quickly build a strong, safe open connection with your client.

✅ Concentrate and be effective from the very start.

✅ Quickly refocus when your mind has wandered away

Step 2: Mindful self-awareness.

You might be thinking, ‘well, I’m self-aware, Sally’ - and yes, most coaches are. But there is a difference between being self-aware and mindfully self-aware. You might be great at identifying your thoughts, feelings and emotions but without mindfulness, it’s easy to add judgment, self-criticism and even avoidance into the mix which creates more thinking and unease.  In coaching, it’s good to be self-aware but if you’re unable to let go of unhelpful thinking with kindness, it’s hard to refocus on your client and have the impact you want

When you are mindfully self-aware you can:

✅ Recognise the kinds of thoughts that often trip you up.

✅ Build acceptance and trust in your own ability to coach intuitively

✅ Show kindness and compassion to yourself when working with a difficult client

✅ Still, feel grounded in emotional or uncomfortable conversations

Step 3: Responsive.

Have you ever had a coaching session where you think you might have said the wrong thing, suggested the wrong solution or perhaps you’ve been emotionally triggered yourself by something the client has said? Or perhaps you’re working in your business and you start comparing yourself to others, feeling like an imposter or criticising yourself.  This is because it’s easy to react impulsively when you’re on autopilot and mindfully unaware. Mindfulness helps you to notice those first signs of stress so that you can make a choice to respond more skilfully.

When you are able to be responsive you can:

✅ Be okay with the unpleasant e.g. if your client is emotional or if you have your own worries and stresses in the background

✅ Act and speak with intention, be more creative, open to new ideas and better at problem-solving, taking mindful pauses if needed.

✅ Listen more deeply so that your clients feel truly heard and understood.

Step 4:  Self-Compassion and Inner Peace

Running a coaching business is hard.  You have to wear all the hats from CEO, to marketing guru, to accountant and more.  You have a hundred and one things to juggle.  This can often feel overwhelming and a great opportunity for your mean inner critic to tell you you’re not doing it right, you’re not good enough, your offer needs to change or you need more training.  You compare yourself to other coaches and feel like an imposter.  This can cause low mood or stress and impact how you show up for your business and your clients.

When you build self-compassion and inner peace you can:

✅ You live more in the present moment and can let go of negative thinking that gets in the way of you being productive in your daily tasks.

✅ You are kinder to yourself and able to regulate your emotions so stress passes more quickly and you can find your inner peace.

✅ You are generally more at ease and calm so you are able to show up for your clients with a calmer presence, even in stressful calls.

✅ You have self-compassion and more compassion for your clients.

Step 5: Guide a mindfulness practice.

Sometimes it’s not you, it’s them. When you have a client who is emotional, talkative or has rushed in from another meeting you can easily lose much of the session with unnecessary and unfocused chatter or offloading. You might be feeling totally focused but unless your client is too, you may not get the impact and the results you could have if you were both present from the start.

When you are able to guide a mindful practice to your client you can:

✅ Help regulate their nervous system and settle their mind so they are focused

✅ Ensure you get down to business straight away and get more done in the session.

✅ Manage your client for a more effective and impactful session.

Don’t just believe me, here’s what some past clients have said:

Noelle Morgan, Leadership and Mindset Coach.

“I didn’t expect the amount of gifts she’d share with me…in my sessions I’m more grounded, more present and a better coach… I’m really listening and in the moment…I feel lighter, I’m less hard on myself, I have more self-compassion, I give myself more kindness, I’m more focused and present….I don’t say it lightly but this programme has probably been life-changing for me. Sally is an absolute delight to work with, she’s the kindest person, gives so much, so supportive. I recommend anyone to take her programme”

Chloe Myers, Sobriety Coach

“Mindfulness played a really important role in being able to sit with those [difficult] feelings like stress, overwhelm, sadness, confusion that I used to use alcohol to distract myself with. I wanted to bring those skills to my clients in my coaching too…I can now use mindfulness in my coaching now so I’m an even better coach and they are getting better results”

“A fantastic, well thought out course, with great uplifting support and gentle compassionate guidance. It offers many tools to enable the coach/counsellor to stay mindfully present in the moment with much improved listening skills and greater ability to focus. I fully recommend this to anyone who works in the coaching/counselling environment. A most heartfelt thank you Sally!” Stella, Coach and Councellor

“Huge thank you Sally, I have really enjoyed the course and you have helped me gain confidence in both my personal mindfulness skills and also for my mindfulness skills to use during my treatments. All my clients love the mindfulness practice at the start of their treatment and have commented they are able to really switch off and focus inwards. Mindfulness improved the quality of my treatments and therefore impacted my business positively. I have gained so much personally from this course and would highly recommend it” Claire, Reflexologist (I don’t just work with coaches by the way but anyone who feels that mindfulness would help them have more with their clients)

“I can't believe how much this is helping me with my clients. I'm telling my clients to turn towards their emotions. And I didn't truly understand how to do that until now, until having done the mindfulness course - how to really sit with the difficulties, the challenges – it’s really helping.” Colette, Counsellor.

“Mindfulness is cropping up in everything I’m doing. [For] coaching, mindfulness underpins everything about how important it is for the coach to be present, to be able to listen, to be able to account and if you don't listen, you can't question it.”

“Sally is a knowledgeable, kind, CALM and amazing mindfulness coach. She listens intently to her client’s voice, and responds accordingly, always in a helpful and knowledgeable way. I’ve learnt so much on a subject I thought “I knew a lot about”. Livia, Coach and Therapist

Can I achieve these results with The Mindful Coach programme?

As with any transformational change, it takes time to cultivate and train the mind to be able to detach from the thinking that gets in the way of you being a great coach.

This programme is for coaches who are fully committed to up-levelling and ready to make this a priority in their schedule. Need help with it all? This is what I'm good at!

To achieve these results requires complete commitment for the full 12 weeks.

If you don’t have time to attend weekly 1.5 hour 1-to-1 sessions with me and do 30 minutes of daily meditation practice (in your own time but I will guide you on how to do this effectively) then this isn’t the programme for you.

This programme also may not be suitable for you if you have recently had a traumatic event like a bereavement or serious illness, if you suffer from PTSD or are currently in a depressive relapse or in the middle of a major upheaval like moving house. If this is you, it would be helpful to have a call with me first so check it is the right time.

The clients who get the best results are those who block the time in, in the same way you would for your family or your personal trainer. Just like training for a marathon, consistency and regular practice are key.

I want you to get the incredible results you deserve. So you wouldn’t be alone on your journey. If you choose to commit to the programme, I will be there for you throughout - leading, holding and supporting you all the way.

 About your teacher

Sally has been practising mindfulness and meditation since 2007 as it helped her through the impacts of workplace stress. She fully understands the emotional investment required to lead, develop and empower people during her 14-year background in international corporate learning and development, coaching and leading teams.

After having her second child, Sally completed an 8-week Mindfulness-based stress reduction course and the life-changing breakthroughs she gained in such a short space of time led her to change career and dedicate herself to helping others experience their own transformations.

Since then, she has trained with world-renowned mindfulness centres gaining a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Teaching and has taught mindfulness to others at the highest level. Sally has helped many clients to calm their minds and take control in situations where they previously felt helpless, and she now specialises in helping coaches develop mindfulness skills so that they can be more impactful and get better results with their clients.

How does the programme work?

The 12-week Mindful Coach programme is based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Life which is scientifically evidenced and incorporates skills-based learning approaches. This style of learning deepens your understanding and creates new habits which positively impact you and the people you work with.

Each week, we will meet online 1-to-1 for 1.5 hours to programme your brain so you can achieve focus and attention.

We will cover all of the key areas detailed below, but I’ll tailor the course to your specific needs. I will hold space for you to guide you through and be with you every step of the way as we journey through your transformation.

Once you have learnt mindfulness skills for yourself, you will then learn how to deliver safe and authentic practices for your clients so that you are both present and focused for the call.

As well as the 1-to-1 calls, 30 minutes of daily practice are required for the skills development and neurological changes to take place and become embedded.

Is The Mindful Coach programme suitable for me?

This programme could work for you if you:

💫 Are an experienced coach (2+ years) who is dedicated to serving their clients deeply (sometimes to your own detriment)

💫 Your clients can often be stressed, overwhelmed or very talkative and you would like to learn to guide a simple meditation to help feel focused and settled so that you can have an impactfuil coaching session right from the start.

💫 Recognise the potential for mindfulness and meditation to create some powerful shifts in how you show up as a coach (but maybe haven’t been able to fully tap into them yet)

💫 Have tried meditation but struggled to stick to it

💫 Love the idea of developing a powerful mindfulness practice that is specifically designed to support you in your coaching and being able to offer safe and authentic meditations for your clients.

Sally’s training will not only change your business, but indeed your life, if you are willing to listen to her. They should be teaching this in schools alongside Maths and English in my opinion – it is that important. Thanks Sally, what a great gift you have given me.
— Coach and Therapist Livia

Because of the high investment of my time and energy in this programme, spaces are limited and by application only, to ensure a good fit.

Book a free 30-minute zoom call where we can get to know each other and discuss how mindfulness could support your coaching practice. During the call we will decide together if the course would be suitable for you and what results you could realistically expect.

There is no hard sell on these calls. We’d be working closely together so it’s important that we both feel like we will be a good fit, and I will only take on coaches who I believe can really benefit and achieve the outcomes they want.

Even more kind words

This course has given me the ability to notice my thoughts, realise the patterns, understanding that they are just thoughts. The clarity that I get from a session is amazing, even if I feel that I haven’t done “it well”. Realising that negative emotions and feelings pass and that I don’t need to try and “fix” myself when I feel them! I also started to see, with your help, my striving, forward focused thought patterns and learned when they might help and when they might hinder me!
— Katherine Tiddy, Executive Coach
Practice has allowed me to: increase my self-awareness, augment my self-care, limit the impact of my self-critical thoughts, fill up with gratitude and appreciation, re-connect with friends I haven’t seen all year and make some important decisions about the future - so many reasons to continue practising!
— RS
This course is literally life changing. It has helped me to be kinder to myself; prioritise my wellbeing and self-care; re-connect with friends; and make significant decisions about the future. And with Sally at the helm, participants are supported and contained, while warmly and gently navigated through the course.
— PT
This course will change your mindset and give you tools to navigate situations in life in a healthy and positive way. Sally is a wonderful coach and I feel blessed to have worked with her.
— Livia O, Counsellor and Coach
The course is brilliant for enabling you to understand more about what you are doing with both yourself and your life. It will enlighten you to your everyday unseen, sometimes unhealthy, habits and offer you tools to help you throughout every aspect of your journey, oft to a more balanced calmer and loving outcome.
— SS
Sally has been a fantastic and patient teacher and has the most soothing voice for the meditations
— Heidi Marfitt, Photographer
A heartfelt thank you Sally...I have loved doing this course and have so appreciated it. More than you know.
— SM
Sally’s mindfulness course has been a life changer for me, it has given me so much awareness and appreciation in my daily life, I feel reconnected to myself and enjoy life in a much deeper way since taking the course. Sally is kind, caring and very relatable, she put me at ease from day 1, she has a wonderful calming voice and guides you through each practice with ease. I highly recommend this course.
— Lynsey Green, Artist
Thank you! This course has changed how I look at life and how I feel about myself, I am so very grateful
— RT
1. I have become increasingly aware of the tension I feel often when I am rushing at work, or trying to juggle too much. When I notice this, I now pause, ground myself with points of contact and breathe mindfully, or practise a three step breathing space. I have started to do this before I log into work email, which has meant that I am in a better position before I start work.

2. Daily gratitude practices have been really beneficial. I feel more connected to a number of people in my life due to including them in the practices, and as a result have contacted and arranged to meet friends I have not seen this year. I am also grateful for the health I still have, and have prioritised maintaining it, for example by booking into aqua classes.

3. An overall increase in awareness and letting go has enabled me to recognise that I am caught up in repeating patterns that are not always beneficial. As a consequence, I have made some significant decisions about work and wider responsibilities.
